Hell Hath No Fury Like a Tatoo Artist Scorned

Dayton, OH tattoo artist Ryan Fitzgerald will have his day in court with ex-girlfriend, Rossie Brovent. Brovent has hit Fitzgerald with a $100,000 lawsuit claiming that her ex was supposed give her a back tattoo of a scene from Narnia, the fictional world made famous in the C.S. Lewis novels and recent movies The Chronicles of Narnia. Instead of the requested image, Fitzgerald tattooed a picture of a huge pile of %&!@ with flies whirling around it.
Apparently, Ryan found out that Rossie had cheated on him with a long-time friend of his. Instead of confronting her about her infidelity, he played it off as if everything were normal, secretly planning his revenge.
At first, Rossie tried to have Ryan charged with assault, but the scorned tattoo artist had covered his bases by getting Rossie drunk and having her sign a consent form that said the design was “at the artist’s discretion.”
Rossie hasn’t said whether or not the affair with Ryan’s friend was worth it.
Class, what should we learn from this story? Hell hath no fury like a tattoo artist scorned.
